Casey played four years of soccer for Turpin, two at JV and the last two for varsity.
Casey started playing soccer at the age of four for the corporately sponsored “ Merrill Lynch Bulls” The Bulls would intimidate their opponents by chanting “ Mess with the Bulls and you will get the Horns.”
Casey moved to club soccer playing for GSE Cardinals, Kings and most recently Kings Hammer Academy. Casey played for her favorite coach, Clay Revis, and mentioned her favorite practice when Clay stopped practice in order to sing different
patriotic songs because an American Bald Eagle was flying overhead.
Like so many other seniors from this class, Mary Ellen Tully was Casey’s favorite senior player. Simply put, “She was the legend.” Casey’s favorite traditions from THS Soccer was the team dinners, singing the alma mater on bus rides home from away matches and hanging with teammates throughout the season. Casey advise for incoming freshman is “You get out what you put in.”
Casey plans on playing intramurals or club at whatever university she ends up next fall. Good luck from all the Turpin Spartans….
