Gillespie shoots 234 and 416 series at Fairfield Lanes. Monday the ladies traveled to Fairfield Lanes to take on a tough Hamilton team. The home team bowled rather well but the Lady Spartans bowled better.
Monday was the annual Teacher/Bowler Scotch Doubles/Crazy Bowl party. Each of the girls picked a teacher as their partner to bowl two scotch doubles games and one crazy bowl game. The winner in the scotch doubles was Kamila Samadi and her partner Mr. Chaney as they shot a total of 312 for two games. The crazy bowl winner was Mr. Kirlin with an 84. As always a great time was had by all with pizza, snacks and refreshments provided.
Turpin 2249, Norwood 1832. Again, highest was Evan Cornuelle with a 397. We also had two other bowlers bowl their high games and series for the season. Senior Blake Rutherford had a 386 series (high for season) with games of 182 and 204.
The Turpin girls bowling team celebrated the end of their season with a bowling party that included several Turpin teachers and staff members. The Spartans, who edged out Norwood 1984-1800 in a match last week, are at Hamilton on Monday, at Goshen on Wednesday, and finish their regular season next Monday against St. Ursula.
