The girls and boys varsity track and field teams took on the Tigers of Loveland and twelve other teams at Loveland's Dawn DeHart Invitational Track and Field meet on May 2nd. The girls bagged the hosting Tigers and all of the other ECC teams in attendance, taking third in the meet overall behind McAuley and Colerain. The boys' field all felt the bite of the winning Tigers, but the Spartans performed well, coming in fourth behind Loveland, Colerain and Wyoming.

The Turpin varsity track and field teams competed this week against 13 teams in the two-day Anderson Invitational at Brown Stadium. The girls took top honors, edging out ECC rival Loveland by winning the last event of the meet, the 4x400 m relay. The boys had a little tougher time, taking 7th in the highly competitive field and edging out the hosts, Anderson, and beating ECC rivals Glen Este and Milford

The Spartan varsity track and field teams traveled across town to the Wildcat Invitational at Harrison High School on April 17. The Turpin girls took third place in a field of twelve teams while the men placed fourth.
