The Anderson Redskins handed the Turpin Spartans a 58-16 loss Friday in the annual King of the Hill football game.
The Turpin Spartans pounded the Withrow Tigers 42-7 Friday to even their record to 2-2 in the ECC and 3-4 overall. The Spartans will host Anderson this Friday in the King of the Hill game.
The Kings Knights shut down Turpin 35-7 Friday at Kings High School. Kings junior wide receiver Hunter Jessee became familiar with the endzone on this Homecoming night for the Kings, as senior quarterback Ashton Koller found Jessee on a 28-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, and then again in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 28-0.
Down 14-7 in the third quarter, the Turpin Spartans rallied to beat the Walnut Hills Eagles on Homecoming 27-14 to improve their record to 2-3 this season and 1-1 in the ECC.
