The Turpin Spartans extended their unbeaten streak to 8-0 with a 28-16 victory over the Milford Eagles Friday. Luke Bohenek ran for two touchdowns and caught another for a TD as the Spartans ran to a 21-7 first-half lead and nevere looked back. The Spartans play their final regular-season home game this Friday in Senior Night against the Loveland Tigers.
For the next 12 months, students and fans of Turpin High School will have bragging rights against their Forest Hills School District mates at Anderson. The Spartans shut out the Redskins 35-0 high on Turpin's hill. Friends and family are connected to the two schools separated by about three miles, but when it comes to football, all bets are off.
