The Turpin Spartans — ranked No. 6 in the Ohio Division II Associated Press Football Poll — defeated the Withrow Tigers 41-14 on Friday to remain perfect at 6-0. The Spartans will host rival Anderson this Friday at home as Turpin tries to remain unbeaten and knock off their Forest Hills School District foes.
The Turpin Spartans -- ranked No. 9 in the state AP polls -- went to 5-0 on the season with a 31-17 win over the Glen Este Trojans, who were ranked No. 10. Bennie Stoll passed for 169 yards and two touchdowns and Luke Bohenek rushed for 205 yards as the Spartans remained atop the Eastern Cincinnati Conference at 2-0 with Withrow, whom they will play this Friday.
