The Turpin Spartans lost to the Loveland Tigers, 24-13, Friday. The Spartans will finish out the season with a home game against Walnut Hills in the final game for the Turpin seniors.
The Turpin Spartans knocked off the Milford Eagles, 26-9, Friday. The Spartans improved to 3-5 overall, and the win gave Spartan coach Rob Stoll his 100th career win. Zach Bernard helped get the Spartans started, intercepting a pass to give Turpin good field advantage. Owen Carpenter scored on a one-yard touchdown.
The Andrson Redskins scored the winning touchdown with 39 seconds remaining to defeat rival Turpin, 21-14, in a game played in a rain storm at Anderson High School. The win improves ther Redskins to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference. Turpin fell to 2-5 and 1-3 in the ECC.
