The Lady Spartans continued their string of good performances on Tuesday with a 3-2 win over Seton. The girls are undefeated in their last four games and look to finish the season strong. They took on a good Seton team that they had narrowly beat at the Spartans home field earlier in the year.

The Lady Spartans played a talented McNicholas team to a hard fought 1-1 tie on a beautiful, warm, and sunny last day of summer. Turpin got off to a quick start controlling the game but found out rather quickly that McNich plays a tough, physical and bend but don't break game. Their midfielders and defenders were fast and physical and were not letting Turpin play any through balls or their possession game.
The Lady Spartans started their long set of road games with a win over the weekend and they were trying to keep it going at Mason on Monday. They came away with a 1-1 tie against a program that went to the state finals at the varsity level last year. Even though they always play for a win the girls can feel pretty good about this one.
The Lady Spartans had a long distance road game in Centerville on Saturday, but the trip was worth it since they came home with a "W". The girls played well in all phases of the game. The offense applied sustained pressure on the Centerville side of the field. The defense turned back almost all the attacks and the few that got though were repelled by some great goalkeeping. The early part of the game was a back and forth battle with some tough defending by Bridget Ward who fought through some physical play but held her ground and showed the Centerville strikers that the Turpin players will push back with the best of them.
