The beginning of the school year and fall season starts with an impressive write up on ohiotenniszone.com regarding two Turpin tennis players. An article written on July 29th recognizes incoming sophomore Grant Wendel as a top player in the USTA’s B16 category. In addition, an article written on July 30th titled, ‘Incoming Freshman Expected to Make An Impact’, names incoming freshman Caitlin Fisher as one of the top 12 players in the state of Ohio.
The lady Spartans enjoyed a successful tennis season this fall. As the season draws to a close, the Turpin Varsity Tennis Team found itself sending two doubles teams to districts for the first time in girls' tennis school history.
As the regular season came to and end, sectionals began. Zanda Orgil, Caroline Millard, and Sarah Wilke played singles in the tournament.
As the season was winding down, the lady Spartans were apart of the ECC tournament.
