The JV boys golf team ended their season on Saturday on a high note in the CHL Tournament at Meadow Links against Wyoming, Indian Hill, Mariemont, and Seven Hills. They came out victorious, shooting a 162, beating the field by a narrow margin. Ben Hemmelgarn was the tournament medalist, shooting a 36, followed by Clay Scherer with a 39. It was a great way to cap off a successful season.
The boy's varsity golf team raised their season record to 11-6 after defeating Glen Este and Walnut Hills at Stillmeadow Country Club on September 24. Cash Renfro continued to stay hot and earned medalist honors with a low score of 40. Other scorers were Jacob Breth with a 43, and Collin McAninch and Connor Lambert with 44s.
The JV boys golf team defeated Seven Hills on Monday, 9/21, at Legendary Run by a score of 186 - 203. They were led by medalist Hayden Verdin who fired a season best 41, followed by Ryan Lambert with a 46, and Tanner Wessels who also shot a personal best, 48.
The Turpin JV boys golf team won a very close match versus Indian Hill on Thursday at Legendary Run. They won with their 5th player's score in a 193-193 tiebreaker. The team was led by medalist Clay Scherer who shot a 42. This week they wrap up their season against Seven Hills on Monday, Summit Country Day on Tuesday, and King of the Hill on Wednesday.
