On Friday, February 6 at Klinger Court, the Anderson Redskins JV defeated Turpin (8-10, 5-6 ECC) and gained a split in the season series. The Spartans trailed the entire game, and could not get their offense untracked until the outcome was decided.
On Tuesday, February 3, the Turpin Spartan JV squad (8-9) lost to neighborhood rival McNick 43-38.
On Tuesday, January 27, the Turpin JV (7-8, 4-5 ECC) dropped a tough road loss to Loveland 40-39. With seven seconds remaining and the Spartans trailing by one, Marc Gendreau drove the lane and had his shot knocked away. There was contact, but no foul called and the Tigers escaped with the win.
On Friday, January 23, the Walnut Hills JV squad defeated Turpin (7-6, 4-4 ECC) 35-26, and swept the season series. The Eagles took advantage of a big fourth quarter to take the victory.
On Friday, January 30 the Turpin Spartan JV team (8-8, 5-5 ECC), overcame a seven point halftime deficit and defeated the Glen Este Trojans 37-31 in a low scoring affair at Klinger Court.
On Saturday, January 24, the Turpin Spartans (7-7) dropped a non-league contest to Princeton 50-38. Although the Spartans had the deficit down to three points during the fourth quarter, the Vikings pulled away late in the game to secure the victory.
On Tuesday, January 20, the Turpin Spartan JV (7-5) traveled to Hughes, and defeated the Big Red 35-33. The Spartans overcame a six point halftime deficit, and put a halt to their two game losing streak.
