The Turpin swim team performed well at the state meet, as the Spartans sent 10 swimmers to the championships in Canton. Audrey Mooney, Uma Aguiar, Jessica Rupp, Madeline Hart, Taylor Contino, Gail Workman, Allison Kapostasy, Jordy Fanning, Ali Asbury and Pete Lingo all competed for the Spartans at the meet.

As the Spartans walked into the Sectional Tournament, they were one of the smallest varsity squads to compete over the weekend. After some tough matches, some great wins and a lot of blood and sweat the Turpin Spartans qualified four wrestlers onto the District Tournament.
On Friday, February 17 in a sweltering Anderson gym, the Turpin Spartans (6-16, 4-10 ECC) fell to the Anderson Redskins (10-12, 6-8 ECC) 36-34.
